Sherbourne Health Centre

Mental health counselling services are provided within a biopsychosocial and trauma framework for people who face barriers to services. The services address the needs of people who have undefined: mental health, emotional health and/or substance use as their problems. The program also provides services to clients who may not readily identify mental health problems. We address a range of concerns that have their origins in: childhood abuse, relationship issues, poverty, violence, war trauma, settlement, sexual and gender identity. Our mental health team works collaboratively using creative approaches to help clients deal with a broad range of issues such as substance use, anxiety, depression, discrimination, transphobia, and homophobia.
