Program Description

The Family Resource Team (FRT) is an intensive service that works with parents to help identify and respond to the unique challenges faced by their family. The FRT will also work with children or extended family members, including collaboration with school or other agencies in the community.

The Family Resource Team can help with:

- Understand ADD/ADHD
- Managing Stress - Parent and Child
- Sibling Rivalry
- Effective Communication
- Importance of Structure and Consistency
- Dealing with Consequences

- Effective Coaching
- Social Skills Development

Access Information

Call, contact through the website, or walk-in to complete a referral. Referral accepted from children, youth, parents, caregivers and third parties. Children who self refer must be able to use and understand the information provided once they engage in services.
