Problem Gambling Treatment Program

Type Of Service

Counselling and Treatment - Problem Gambling

Program Description

Assessment involves a biopsychosocial interview and the completion of assessment tools. Assessment and feedback is generally completed in three sessions, and areas of exploration include gambling, substance use and mental health.

All clinical staff members are cross-trained in addictions and mental health, so clientele with multiple issues receive continuous service with one counsellor. Treatment services are generally provided once per week for one hour. Sessions are typically conducted at the Red Lake or Ear Falls offices with accommodation for special situations (e.g., mobility problems, etc.).

Access Information

Referrals from third parties are accepted, and self-referral is preferred. All appointments are booked through the Red Lake Office.
