Program Description

After completing the intake process, individuals, couples and families will attend a counselling clinic for an initial assessment. After attending the counselling clinic, clients are referred to individual, couple, family, or group counselling sessions or are referred outside the agency to other community resources.

Counsellors can help with:
- Individuals with relationship concerns including stress, anger, self-esteem, grief, loneliness, life transitions
- Individuals experiencing communication issues with their children, step parenting, parenting teens
- Couples experiencing conflict, empty nesting, blended families, work and home balance, communication issues
- Families resolving conflict, dealing with stress, breakdowns in communication
- Family Counsellors also offer group sessions on common interest topics such as parenting teens, assertiveness skills, and dealing with loss
