Program Description

Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) is a supportive housing program for individuals with a serious mental illness. The program assists tenants by providing appropriate housing and support services to achieve and maintain stability in a safe, affordable home. The aim is to improve and/or stabilize peoples’ physical and mental health and to foster independence, while enhancing participation and integration into the community.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this program, individuals must be living with severe and persistent mental disorders such as schizophrenia, major affective disorders, paranoid and other psychoses; the individual demonstrates a need for supportive housing and support services
