New Dimensions Assertive Community Treatment Team

Type Of Service

Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT)

Program Description

The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams provide the treatment, rehabilitation, and support services that assist people with severe mental illness in their recovery and their desire to live in the community. The teams are multidisciplinary each having a social worker, nurses, a vocational specialist, an occupational therapist, a psychiatrist, a peer support specialist, and an addictions specialist. Model of service is an ACT model. Average length of stay is three years.
