Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides services to individuals 18 years old and older who are medically stable and have an intellectual disability and a serious mental illness and/or associated challenging behaviours. Educational presentations are available upon request.

Inclusion Criteria:
Individuals between 18-65 years of age must be medically stable and present with an intellectual disability (IQ below 70, diagnosed prior to age 18) and a serious mental health illness and/or associated behavioural difficulties.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from a medical doctor or healthcare professional.
Referrals are made through Ontario Shores Central Intake.
