Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
An interprofessional team provides flexible service tailored to the individual needs of a person. Individuals are offered a period of assessment followed by ongoing support for the individuals’ recovery process and goal attainment by providing individual or group sessions using evidence-based treatments, providing medication support (if necessary), symptom management and support.
Inclusion Criteria:
- 18 to 65 years old
- Prominent symptoms of a depression, mood disorder, anxiety disorder or obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Willing to attending appointments, groups or coaching sessions with a clinician weekly and as required with an Nurse Practitioner or a psychiatrist, if applicable
- Has goals relating to psychoeducation, treatment, and recovery
- If actively engaged in individual therapy in the community, may be referred for one-time consultation only or shared care
Referrals are accepted from hospital, health professional, family physician or nurse practitioner.
Referrals are made through Ontario Shores Central Intake.
