Supportive housing assists women in recovery who have completed a substance treatment program, are inadequately housed, and eligible for some form of financial assistance. Supportive Housing Counsellors can assist in acquiring housing, provide individualized case management, correspond with/create links to various community resources, initiate safety planning, incorporate skills training, and develop a plan for relapse prevention in partnership with the client.
