Program Description

The Distress Centre provides immediate telephone intervention and referral to anyone experiencing crisis from a mental health perspective. The need could result from a distress or crisis situation, or it could be the result of not knowing where to go to obtain specific services. Staff is available to listen, be non-judgmental, provide information and referral and assist in helping people to problem-solve.
