Program Description

Provides individual assessment, career and education counseling, skills training, and community employment opportunities for both inpatients and outpatients in a welcoming and recovery- oriented environment.

Services Offered:
- Individual vocational and education assessments
- Job Preparation, Resume, Interview workshops
- Job Development and Job Coaching (Ontario Shores is an approved ODSP Service Provider)
- Individual Work Placement programs in hospital
- Job readiness and Pre-employment programs in association with the Abilities Centre

Inclusion Criteria:
Outpatients 16 years and older requiring assistance with education or employment

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from Hospital, Health Professional, Family Physician/Nurse Practitioner, Self, Family and Community Agency.
Referrals are made through Ontario Shores Central Intake.
