Program Description

The team provides consultation, assessments and recommendations only for individuals who have an intellectual disorder below the borderline level (IQ below 70) and the signs and symptoms of a major mental health disorder. Individuals seen by the team are in a crisis because treatment plans by other health care providers have not been successful.

Access Information

Referrals accepted from General Practitioners (GP) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) or from community partners with consent from GP or NP. Complete the online referral form. All referrals go through Royal Ottawa Health Care Group Central Intake.
