Counselling and Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Provides culturally competent, culture-based, professional addiction counselling services to First Nations, Inuit, Metis (FNIM) individuals who require assistance in the area of addiction assessment, treatment, support, advocacy, service co-ordination and referral for themselves and family members. Addiction services include prevention, treatment, and referral, care planning, Wellness and Teaching Circles, and aftercare with a Traditional knowledge based approach.

Access Information

Referrals can come from any source. Call or complete and submit the online intake form.

Eligibility: Individuals must have registered status, Métis card, or documented affiliation with a First Nation community.
