Program Description

The child and adolescent mental health outpatient services provide multi-disciplinary, outpatient assessment, treatment, and consultation services.

These services include:
- rapid response service (urgent supports 1-3 visits)
- transition support service
- transitional medication follow-up service
- psychiatric consultation (non-urgent consultations required by primary care)

Access Information

Access is through emergency crisis services at Grand River Hospital, the CAIP unit upon discharge, or through centralized intake for child and adolescent services.

The hospital's centralized intake accepts referrals from primary care physicians.
