The child and adolescent outpatient psychiatry provide multi-disciplinary, outpatient assessment, treatment, and consultation services.

These services include:
- rapid response service (urgent supports 1-3 visits)
- community triage
- transition support service
- transitional medication follow-up service
- psychiatric consultation

Access Information

Access is through emergency crisis services at Grand River Hospital, the CAIP unit upon discharge, or through community triage for child and adolescent services.

The hospital's centralized intake accepts referrals from primary care physicians.
