Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
Wabano's Mental Health Walk-in Counselling is a counselling service for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit individuals. It offers same day short-term mental health/wellness support for individuals and/or their family. The Walk-in Counselling is unique because it is a client centred, strength-based, culturally safe and collaborative approach to counselling Indigenous people. It incorporates Traditional and Western approaches to healing.
No referral or appointments are necessary. Walk-in, first-come-first served. Individuals will be asked to fill out a questionnaire when arriving and then they will be informed of when their appointment will be.
