Program Description

Assesses and treats children and adolescents that present with serious mental illness that may be treated on an outpatient basis.

Access Information

Access to this program is through the Emergency Department, inpatient program or from a general practitioner (family physician/nurse practitioner).

Referrals from general practitioners can be made by Ocean E-Referral.

Eligibility Criteria:
Children and youth 4-18 years of age residing in Ajax, Pickering, or Scarborough M1 postal codes with a severe experience of mental illness requiring more intensive support than can be provided in the community.
