Crisis Intervention
The Crisis Intervention and Community Response program offers 24-hour telephone support to assist individuals, community organizations, and emergency services – to work through the resolution of identified issues and challenges. The Crisis Intervention and Community Response program can help to promote stabilization pre and post-crisis, explore and develop coping strategies, and provide support and recommendations to internal and external ongoing mental health and addiction resources. Service navigation, and provide information about resources available in the community are also available.
Clients will usually access the crisis line first. They may request a mobile visit, or we may suggest to them that a face to face assessment may be helpful. Our team meets with people in the community for mental health and addiction assessments and support, including service navigation and referrals.
