Intensive/Day Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Day program for women who are pregnant and/or parenting a child (aged six or younger) and who are experiencing problems of substance use or recovery.
Services include:
- Infant/child worker, paediatric toxicologist (doctor specializing in FASD, paediatric withdrawal), obstetric support
- Parenting and addiction groups
- Children are considered clients within the program and services are available to them
- Parent/child education, new mother support group, public health parenting program
- Life skills training

Access Information

Referrals accepted from anyone, including self-referrals.

Interested individuals may call or email. Their call will be returned within a week and they will be invited for an initial in-person appointment.

Inclusion criteria:
Women who are pregnant and/or parenting at least one child under the age of 6 years, and
who are experiencing problems of substance use or recovery, and
who want support around their substance use or recovery.
