Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

The live-in program will provide support and guidance to substance users and their families,

Program includes:
- pre-treatment and referral at the community level
- orientation
- assessment of alcohol behaviour
- understanding of the disease
- relationships
- healing of memories
- transition to return home
- after-care and follow-up at the community level (for one year)

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from individuals who:
- are voluntarily agreeing to participate in the Treatment Program;
- are assisted by community-based agencies, health professional and other related agencies;
- have been substance free for a period of 30 days prior to attending the Treatment Program;
- are able to come to the Treatment Centre with a 6 week supply of their medication; and
- have children three months of age or older

Please complete the online referral form. When an application is submitted the individual will be prompted to Download/Print off the 10 paged ‘Medical Portion’ that needs to be completed, scanned and submitted by a Medical Professional, by email for fax.
