Crisis Intervention
The Mobile Crisis Program offers face to face crisis intervention for individuals experiencing mental health and/ or addictions crisis.
Interventions are conducted by a team made up of a crisis worker and police officer.
Individuals can call Crisis Response Services toll-free number. If the crisis cannot be resolved over the telephone, the caller will be offered mobile crisis response within their designated working hours. Crises occurring outside of those hours will not be referred to the Mobile Crisis Program. Individuals concerned about police involvement may elect to go to the hospital where the mobile crisis intervention will occur without police participation.
