Program Description

Reach is designed to support children and youth in developing coping skills and social-emotional learning. Reach also provides non-academic support to students who are on an alternative learning plan, serving a suspension, expulsion or need help engaging with school.

Access Information

Referrals can be completed by the school, community agencies, family members or individuals seeking support. Referrals must be submitted with consent. Children and youth are referred to a specific stream according to their needs.

The Reach Support Worker will contact the family/youth to complete an intake and initiate the program. A mental health assessment will be completed with each participant.
