Program Description

The Slaight Centre Clinical High Risk (CHR) Service offers early identification and treatment of individuals that are at risk of developing psychosis.

After an assessment, the clinic will work with the patient to develop a care plan and may offer the following:
- Psychiatric monitoring
- Medication management
- Psychosocial interventions
- Short-term follow-up for up to 12 months will be provided.
- At time of discharge, a transition plan will make recommendations to the patient’s family physician, and other clinical services.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from all sources. Primary family physician or nurse practitioner referral is preferred and will be requested if possible but is not a barrier to consultation.. Referrals are processed through Access CAMH, please specify attention: Slaight Centre CHR.
