Program Description

The Child & Youth Mental Health Eating Disorder (CYMHEDO) Clinic provides assessment and treatment for children and youth with eating disorders. The CYMHEDO team works with the child/youth and their family to create specific treatment goals to correct medical complications, restore body weight and promote normal growth and development, regulate eating patterns, and treat underlying mental health issues. The team consists of a Child Psychiatrist, a Pediatrician, a Behavioural Therapist, a Registered Dietitian, a Social Worker (MSW), and a Nurse Practitioner.

Access Information

Complete online referral. Referrals to the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry must be made by physician (e.g. family doctor, paediatrician). Once a referral has been made, it will be triaged within the Division to determine the appropriate clinic and psychiatrist.
