Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Live-in treatment for individuals with alcohol and substance use concerns. The mission of Migisi is to guide and support Anishinaabe people in their journey in a holistic way.
Individualized treatment planning and group counselling offered.
Treatment models offered are: AA; life skills and traditional concepts; Traditional teachings and practices; Traditional elder co-counselling.
Participants attend AA/NA.
Participation in the Sweat lodge is optional.

Referrals are accepted from the following sources:
- First Nations NNADAP Workers
- Social Services Agencies
- Probation & Parole Officers
- Health and Par-professionals
- Self-Referrals, Family, and/or Friends

Referral forms and information are available on the website. Complete referral forms should be emailed.

Assessments are done individually by a psychologist/social worker on first day of entry into the program.

Individuals must be substance free for ten days prior to admission.
