Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use
Strengths and land-based program.
Program is focused on Fasting for the Good Life; taking individuals on a journey of self which includes components such as detoxification, stabilization, introductions to food, exercise, culture, trauma-informed and focused care, addressing lifestyles and relationships, self-awareness and aftercare planning and relapse prevention.
Referrals are welcomed by self, family Members and other service providers.

Eligibility criteria:
Individuals aged 18+, willingness to participate in program, completed a detox program, has plans to complete a detox program prior or has been without substances for 10 days, accept opioid antagonist treatment therapy.
Individuals registered to any of the 10 Anishinaabeg Communities of Southern Treaty 3 served by Giishkaandago'Ikwe will have first priority for admission into the Mino Ayaa Ta Win Healing Centre, followed by members of the Rainy River District and then other areas/districts/provinces.
