Diversion and Court Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Release from Custody assists individuals with a serious mental illness being released from provincial custody on accessing financial assistance, housing, psychiatric treatment and specific needs identified by the individual.

Access Information

Referrals come from the courthouse, police services, OCDC, any bail bed sites. Call to refer.

The following individuals are eligible:
- Individuals with a serious mental illness being released from provincial custody.
- Individuals with a concurrent disorder (addictions and mental illness).
- Individuals with a serious mental illness who are being diverted from the criminal justice system and correctional system.
