Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
The Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) program is part of an integrated treatment. A cognitive behavioural approach used to support individuals with impulsive and sometimes life threatening behaviours, difficulty tolerating distress, who have difficulties in relationships, and regulating their emotions. It is a skills based therapy offering practical and effective coping techniques.
This service is currently restricted to existing clients of the Branch or through community partners only.
Individuals with a history of committing sexual or physical abuse will be excluded from this program.
