Outpatient Clinic - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides short-term (three to six months) group psychotherapy program for clients with depression and anxiety. Programs in the evening that promote clients returning to employment and/or staying in employment while they continue to work on their issues. Interact is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team.

Access Information

This program requires a physician's referral. Following a referral, clients will be contacted for appointments, and given an estimate of waiting period for service.

Referrals are made through Central Connect, by calling or using the referral form available on the website.

Exclusionary Criteria:
- Active psychosis or mania
- Substance use or dependence that may impede the treatment process
- Significant language, literacy, memory, or cognitive impairment(s)
- Developmental/intellectual disability
- Active involvement in multiple psychological treatments
- Active involvement with ECT and/or recent course of ECT
