Diversion and Court Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Court Support workers provide support to individuals with serious mental illness during their involvement in the court system, linking them to other mental health services and treatment. Court Support workers liaise with individuals, defense lawyers, Crown Attorneys and assist individuals in navigating the criminal court system.

Access Information

Referrals come from a variety of sources including lawyers, doctors, hospitals, family members, police, other community agencies and individuals themselves. Call, fax, fill out the online referral form or walk in at the Crisis & Mental Wellness Centre to speak with a Coordinated Access worker.
