Community-Based Withdrawal Management

Program Description

This service offers an alternative to Residential Withdrawal Management (detox) for those who can safely withdraw in a supportive home environment.

Programs provides:
- telephone support;
- in person office visits or clients can attend Getting Started Program
- support, reassurance and motivational counselling are provided throughout the entire withdrawal period

Access Information

Referrals accepted from anyone including self-referrals.
Please call to speak with an Intake Counsellor who will arrange an intake appointment that will take place in person or by telephone.
Those wishing to taper off prescription medication must have a tapering schedule from their physician.
