Early Psychosis Intervention
First Episode Psychosis Program (FEPP) provides early intervention and treatment for psychosis. The goal of treatment is remission of symptoms and community re-integration, using effective medications as well as other interventions to promote recovery and prevent relapse. The On Track program is linked with many community partners who can support recovery.
Anyone can refer to this program, and the referral form can be printed off from the Cornwall Hospital website. The program helps individuals who may be having early symptoms or signs of psychosis, are experiencing their first psychotic episode and/or have a psychotic illness that has not been treated for more than six months. The program covers a maximum three-year period of treatment.
