Program Description

The Concerned Family and Significant Other groups are part of the Community Counselling program. These groups are designed for family members and significant others who are concerned about their loved ones' substance use.
Services include:
- a virtual twice-monthly facilitated discussion group
- in-person or virtual individual counselling.

This group service is offered in Kitchener and may also be offered in Cambridge according to need. Individual counselling is offered in both Kitchener and Cambridge.

Access Information

Services can be accessed by contacting Here 24/7. Individuals should indicate they are seeking the House of Friendship - Concerned Family and Significant Other group and/or individual counselling services.

Once a referral is made, a House of Friendship staff person will call the individual to schedule an intake appointment.
