Program Description

Moving Forward program Description: Moving Forward provides specialized and prioritized services for women concerned about their substance use and are pregnant and/or parenting children aged 0-6 years.

The program aims to offer an appointment within 48 business hours from first contact, and there is no cost to participate. The program includes individual meetings with a counsellor and information about community resources.

Access Information

Self-referrals are recommended.

Individuals who reside within Waterloo, Wellington, Dufferin contact Here 24/7 or the program directly. Individuals who reside outside of Waterloo, Wellington, and Dufferin may contact the service directly.

Appointments will be scheduled within 48 hours (not including weekends). The coordinator will meet with the woman and hear from her what support/service she would find helpful.
