Program Description

The Assault and Sexual Abuse Program (ASAP) provides emergency health care, evidence collection, and follow-up services to all individuals who are survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault/abuse.

Access Information

In the case of an emergency (assault occurred within last 12 days) go directly to the emergency room of Cornwall Community Hospital at 840 McConnell Avenue. Request an Assault and Sexual Abuse Program nurse. For healthcare-related survivor help (assault occurred more than 12 days) or counselling-related survivor help (assault occurred more than 12 days), please call (non-emergencies or information).

For emergencies (assault occurred within last 12 days), the emergency room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For all other instances, hours are by appointment.
