Program Description

New Directions assists individuals to take responsibility for and change behaviour that has been hurtful, disrespectful, abusive or controlling to a current or former spouse or intimate partner. Group counselling consists of two components: A course for individuals involved in the criminal justice system (court ordered) and a course for individuals not involved in the criminal justice system.

Access Information

Self-referrals or referrals from community services are accepted. Call to register.

In order to be accepted to New Directions, an individual must be willing to acknowledge that he or she has used hurtful, disrespectful or abusive behaviour towards a partner.
