Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
The Walk-in Counselling Clinic provides immediate support and timely help to individuals, couples and families facing a variety of life challenges: mental and emotional health issues, addiction, anxiety, depression, personal or work-related stress, crisis situations, trauma, grief and loss, separation and divorce, anger, sexual abuse (both men and women), family conflicts, relationship issues, parenting and intimate partner violence being just some of them.
Individuals are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. No referrals or appointments are necessary. Individuals are advised to call and ask for/book the next available appointment. Appointments are single counselling sessions with a therapist or social worker. Session length ranges between 75-90 minutes depending on need. Individuals may be referred to additional services as needed. Children under the age of 12 are not seen alone.
Services are available and accessible to all regardless of ethnicity, race, age, ability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, income, and political or religious affiliation.
