Counselling and Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Substance use, Internet and gaming addiction program operates with the following approaches: systemic family, cognitive behavioral, as well as trauma informed care and harm reduction. Program components for families include family therapy, parental counselling, parental psychoeducational groups and referrals as necessary.

Access Information

Self referrals accepted. The majority of the youth in the Ottawa region receive services at their secondary school. The youth who come from the wider Champlain district receive services at the site # 3 address. Requests are directed to the appropriate staff in the clinical team. The clinical staff will then contact the individual directly and set up next steps.
