Early Psychosis Intervention

Program Description

For Mandarin-speaking individuals experiencing their first episode of a serious mental illness are offered individual intervention. Support for families and friends is also provided.

People accessing this service must be Asian and non-English speaking. Program is offered in Mandarin.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from anyone, including self-referral.
Please call or fax the completed Centre for Mental Health.
Referral are also accepted from The Access Point.

Eligibility Criteria:
Individuals from the Chinese community between the ages of 16 and 45 residing in the Greater Toronto area and vicinities who have experienced their first episode of psychosis and have not received adequate treatment for more than a year are eligible.
