Early Psychosis Intervention

Program Description

An outpatient, community-based program for people experiencing, or having recently experienced, their first episode of psychosis, and have received less than 6 months of treatment with an antipsychotic medication for psychosis. Services include: rapid psychiatric assessment, treatment based on individual concerns/goals including education about psychosis, assistance with work, school, social and leisure activities, specialized support to family members and friends, addictions counselling, and introduction to other community programs and planning for management of illness after discharge from the program.
