Counselling and Treatment - Substance Use
Motherwise*ECD provides pregnant and parenting individuals with client-centred, non-judgmental counselling based on the Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing. Services are delivered within a harm reduction framework that meets individuals where they are at to promote health, safety and wellness along a spectrum of behaviours including abstinence. To help reduce these barriers, such as childcare and transportation, practical supports can be provided to individuals to enhance their ability to access and receive services.
