Diversion and Court Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides services to meet the needs of individuals with a mental health condition and/or dual diagnosis who are in conflict with the criminal justice system. Links clients with both short and long term supports; case management services; and mental health information to family and others. Provides progress reports to the court and consultation for those not accepted for diversion. Provides general support throughout the court process.

Access Information

Referrals can be made by, the individual themselves, family, medical system, social system and judicial system.
Program staff are available at the provincial court house in Peterborough when the court is sitting or can be reached by calling main office.
