Diversion and Court Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides supports to the Youth Justice Court for those ages 12-17 with mental health needs. The worker establishes effective linkages between the youth in conflict with the law, the Youth Justice Court and appropriate community mental health and youth justice resources.

Access Information

Court Diversion workers are available in the courts or at the office. There is no waiting list and a worker is available to meet with clients usually within a 72 hour period if not immediately. Referrals can be made by, the individual themselves, family, medical system, social system and judicial system.
