Peer/Self-Help - Mental Health

Program Description

The Outreach Peer Support Program offers a supportive relationship for individuals who are receiving services from Canadian Mental Health Association Sudbury/Manitoulin’s housing programs.

Support may be provided in the form of: one-to-one interactions; group activities that promote creative expression, physical wellness and/or cultural connections; assisting individuals with activities of daily living such as grocery shopping, meal planning or organizing; supporting individuals during medical and community appointments; and connecting individuals to other community services and resources.

Access Information

Referral by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) staff for any recipients of housing services from CMHA (Fairview, Moonlight, and/or Victoria Street Place).
Referrals may be initiated by the individual if they are involved with CMHA housing services.
