Counselling and Treatment - Problem Gambling

Program Description

Assessment and treatment for individuals struggling with behavioural issues including but not limited to problem gambling,
problem spending/shopping, pornography/sex, and excessive internet use. Services include but are not limited to: supporting the
motivation behind problematic behaviours, goal setting, including strategies to address underlying causes of stress and distress;
evaluating and improving coping skills, planning for relapse prevention, assisting with referrals to other community supports and
treatment options as appropriate, and providing education. If an individual is booked for a session with a PGBC Counsellor, that
counsellor will connect with the client a week in advance to complete a screening and determine readiness for counselling
services.

Self-referrals accepted. Appointments are made through the Stratford office for any location. Call for referral.
