Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
The Outpatient Mental Health Program (OPMH) provides brief therapy and educational programs to clients coping with mental illness. Nurses and social workers work with the individual to set goals for therapy and utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to help individuals reach their goals.
Psychiatric consultation and follow-up is available through this program. A Transitional Care Program is also offered as an extension of this program.
Referrals are accepted from physicians or primary care practitioners within the Cochrane District, and from the Timmins and District Hospital's Crisis Team.
