Case Management - Mental Health

Program Description

The program offers both intervention and prevention/education services.

Intervention services include individual, family and group counselling to address general mental health issues relating to grief, suicide, stress, family violence, substance use and coping difficulties; as well as some mental illnesses.

The prevention/education services provided include workshops, presentations and networking with other service providers to educate community people about various mental health issues.

Advocacy and support services are also provided.

Access Information

Individuals can self-refer or be referred by physician, or third parties such as community member, family member, etc.

Referrals are accepted by telephone, walk-in or fax. There is a referral form used for third party referrals which has been distributed to various First Nation and indigenous organizations in the district.
