Public Awareness - Mental Health
This program assists in the care of individuals with complex care needs and responsive behaviours in Long-Term Care facilities and Community Support organizations.
Services offered within this program are: consultation, education and staff training, care plan development, intervention strategies, integrating services, and developing best practice strategies in behaviour management.
Training can be provided in P.I.E.C.E.S, U-First, Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) in Dementia Care.
This program is not designed to provide education for families.
This program provides support to long-term care facilities and community support organizations only.
