Bed-Based Supportive Treatment - Substance Use
The Ken Brown Recovery Home is an 18-bed supportive residential treatment facility for men who are looking to recover from substance use disorder. We are a program that implements the philosophy of 12-Step Recovery to help clients see their futures with a sense of hope.
The programs include life skills development, group therapy, anger awareness, structured relapse prevention, one-on-one counselling, case management as well as treatment and discharge planning. The program meets clients where they are on the continuum of recovery from all mind/mood-altering substances. We also accept referrals from clients who are prescribed opiate-agonist therapy with the goal of complete abstinence from all substances.
Prospective clients can be referred from residential treatment centres, outpatient programs, addiction services, social services, community mental health organizations, withdrawal management, family, and self-referral.
Five days of abstinence before admission is required. Applicants must complete and submit a Ken Brown Recovery Home Client Application as a referral. Our application can be found on our website.
