Program Description

The Walk-In Counselling Service is a brief counselling service that provides immediate access for children, youth, adults, couples and families.

Walk-in self-referrals are prioritized; there may be an option for a phone or virtual session if walk-in traffic is low however clients calling for phone sessions may be provided with alternate referrals/options for phone services.

Each session can last an hour to an hour and a half. On Monday, individuals complete the intake with our Access workers, have their appointment on Tuesday with counsellors from Sault Area Hospital, John Howard Society, Algoma Family Services.
