Support Within Housing - Mental Health
Provides supportive housing to single women and women with children, who have mental health and/or substance use issues. Set in downtown Toronto, the Centre offers affordable homes to low-income women and their families, women living with mental health and addiction issues and Indigenous women and their families.
Support services for women in designated units include case management and system navigation provided in partnership The Jean Tweed Centre, as well as a range of capacity-building and community-engagement activities to support social inclusion and overall wellbeing. Culturally-specific programming for Indigenous women.
Referrals are accepted from anyone, including self-referrals.
Referrals are through The Access Point as well as Jean Tweed Centre and other YWCA Programs.
To refer through the Access Point, please call or fill out the application form online.
Once the application is received, a service navigator will call the individual to set up an appointment to do an intake assessment.
